1. How long in advance should I book the session?Well, sooner is better. However I will always try to handle last minute bookings, too.
-
2. What locations can I choose for our session?Basically any! :) Though I honestly love the unique architecture of Budapest - just like most of my clients - we can actually have the session anywhere you would like. Let's chat to find the desired spots for you! You don't know the city at all? No worries, I know Budapest inside out, and I'm more than happy to plan the route for you. Learn more about the most popular locations HERE. Note: Though I'll help with arranging location permits if needed, any fee to be paid will be an extra on top of my rates.
-
3. Do you accept bookings outside Budapest, too?"Yes, I do accept. However my travel costs will need to be added on top of the fee of the photo shoot if the location is outside Budapest.
-
4. How to book a photo shoot?1.) You are required to fill out and send the booking form via the Pricing page (it can be reached simply by clicking the button under the package descriptions) 2.) I review your request, then I get back to you the soonest. 3.) After agreeing in the date, time and the most important details the next step is the deposit. 4.) You can save the date with a deposit of HUF 20,000, which would be arranged via a secured payment link. I'll also need your home address details in advance for the invoice. Please note that I can produce invoice solely to natural persons, but not to companies! 5.) After the successful payment I send you a confirmation email with all the necessary and useful information regarding the photo shoot.

5. How does the payment work?Deposit/prepayment: You can save the date with a deposit of HUF 20,000, which would be arranged via a secured payment link. You can prepay the total amount as well. I'll also need your home address details in advance for the invoice. Please note that I can produce invoice solely to natural persons, but not to companies! Payment of the remaining amount: Arranged after the session on site. You can use either cash or card (I have a mobile card reader accepting most major cards). If you prefer cash, please prepare with the exact amount. I can accept HUF at the moment.

6. What happens if I have to reschedule or cancel the photo shoot for any reasons?RESCHEDULE Sometimes unexpected things could happen. In case you had to reschedule the photo shoot, we will try to find a new date for you. Note: It could happen that we'd have to choose a location different from the one originally planned depending on the new start time or other circumstances. Example: If we rescheduled an early morning Fisherman's Bastion session for an afternoon, it's recommended to to choose a different location, because Fisherman's Bastion is super crowded at any time other than early morning. RESCHEDULE BECAUSE OF ACTUAL WEATHER CONDITIONS: Cloudy sky, wind, drizzling or light rain, snow (until it's still comfortable to walk around with an umbrella) are not circumstances to reschedule a session. In case of bad weather, e.g. heavy rain, or just light rain but strong wind at the same time, so it's not possible to use an umbrella, we would try to reschedule the session. In case the new date/time offered by the photographer is not manageable for you for any reasons, the deposit is not refunded. However it would be deducted from the rate of a future photo shoot. In case the session cannot be rescheduled during your stay due to the photographer not being available, the full deposit will be refunded. CANCELLATION The following policy applies for cancellations: Notice received 5 or more days before the photo shoot: 100% of the deposit is refunded. Notice received less than 5 days before the photo shoot: 50% of the deposit is refunded. Notice received less than 72 hours before the photo shoot: deposit is not refunded. Notice received less than 48 hours before the photo shoot: 50% of the total agreed amount is required to be paid. Not appearing on site and not getting in touch in 20 minutes after the agreed meeting time the booking would be handled as a "no show": 50% of the total agreed amount is required to be paid. Please note, that I do not take any responsibility for any loss due to canceled, delayed or re-scheduled photo shoots. You are kindly asked to inform me about rescheduling or cancellation the earliest!

7. What happens if I'm running late? Please call, or send me a note as soon as possible. Please note, that I might have another session right after the one with you, which means I will not be able to extend the tour. In such a case you can use only the remaining time. If you run late up to 15 minutes and I do not have another session following yours, the session can be extended free of charge. Should you be late more than 15 minutes and I do not have another session following yours, the session can be extended only with paying the difference for the higher package. It is recommended to plan to arrive 5-10 minutes before the agreed time of the photo shoot.
-
8. During the photo shootPlease note that group sessions (couples, family or friends session) are mostly about group photos. We can obviously take a few solo portraits as well, but basically we would focus on group photos. Should you have other plans, please reach out to discuss it in advance!
-
9. Can I choose the photos to be edited?Yes, you can. I will edit ALL the photos that turned out to be good from our session*. Then I will share an online gallery with you, where you can choose your favourites and download the number of photos included in your package. Should you like to have more photos there is possibility to purchase more via the same gallery. You can even purchase prints and albums. You will see the actual pricing in the gallery. *Most photographers would share only the raw images to choose from. With me you will actually see the final product, when choosing your favourites!
-
10. Can I purchase more photos?Yes, of course! There is possibility to purchase more photos via your online gallery. More over you can purchase prints, albums and other photo products, too.
-
11. What level of editing should I expect? The following will be adjusted on all the images: lights, shadows, colours, crop, contrast, sharpness. I also do a slight skin softening. Skin retouch, slenderizing, or other adjustments to the shape of the body, and/or removal of any objects on the image are not offered.
-
12. When will I receive the photos?I need only 3-5 days(!) to edit your images. It is super fast compared to the 2-3 weeks industry average. You will receive the photos via a download link, sent directly to your email address. However if you'd like to receive your photos sooner, I offer a "next day delivery" service as well up to my availability (actual rates are on the Pricing page).
-
13. Will I receive high resolution images?Yes, of course. You will receive high resolution, print ready images.
-
14. Will you share my photos online without asking permission first? No. Never. Having your permission some of the images might be shared on the website and/or on social media platforms. However, if you prefer to keep them 100% private, I will obviously respect it. You can decide it after having the edited images seen.
-
15. Will I own the copyright of the images? You will have the right to use the images for personal use only. That means you can download, share or print them, but you cannot sell them. Should you use the photos outside your social media profile (e.g. blog site, other websites, interview in a magazine, etc.), my name has to be added for the photo credit. I retain the copyright of all the images.
-
16. Will I receive the unedited raw files, too?"I provide you solely with the edited photos in high resolution JPEG format. However, I always retain the original/unedited raw files. The magic happens only with the editing of the photos. Raw images are not nice at all, also they don't represent my work. In my opinion it's like going to a nice restaurant asking only for the ingredients, instead of waiting for the cook to prepare a delicious meal. ;)

17. Photo shoot in severe weather conditions:In order to operate safely and within the limits of the equipment, severe weather conditions (high winds, lightening & heavy rain) may preclude photography from taking place. It is the responsibility of the photographer to cancel or delay a photo shoot based on extreme weather conditions. Cloudy sky, wind, drizzling or light rain, snow (until it's still comfortable to walk around with an umbrella) are not circumstances to reschedule a session. Please note, that I do not take any responsibility for any loss due to canceled, delayed or re-scheduled photo shoots.
